Invest in the longevity of your industrial plant with leakage-free, environment-friendly, industry-standard bellow valves from Fergo. Bellow sealed valves have an accordion-style metal tube or bellow element between the stem and the top of the body to completely seal the inside of the valve from the atmosphere. In this type of valve, the bellows are used intead of the classic gland packing. We offer the shut-off valve with bellows in the body materials nodular cast iron, gray cast iron and steel. They are available in pressure ratings and flanges PN10/PN16/PN25/PN40.

Bellows-sealed globe valves uses

The globe valves with bellows are used in a wide range of industrial applications. Due to their special design, they are used in applications where zero leakage is an important requirement. They are also referred as 'zero leak valves' and are widely used in applications involving high temperatures and pressures. Depending on the material and operating conditions, our bellows-sealed valves can be used with media such as steam, industrial water, diathermic oil, glycol, compressed air and temperatures up to 450°C. The most common areas of application for bellows-sealed valves are the chemical industry, pharmaceutical industry, food processing, petrochemical industry, semiconductor production, water treatment, cryogenic applications, laboratories and more.

Advantages of the globe valve with bellows sealing

1. The biggest advantage of a bellows valve is the double sealing (bellows + packing). Even if the bellows fails, the stem packing prevents any kind of leakage and meets the international sealing standards.
2. It minimises the loss of the medium and ensures the safety and protection of the environment. This ultimately improves the safety of the plant in which the bellows valve is installed.
3. It can act as an energy saver as it helps minimise energy loss due to leakage.
4. As leakage is minimised, frequent maintenance of the valve is avoided. It therefore leads to a longer life of the valve.
5. Due to the longer service life, the operation and maintenance costs are significantly reduced.
6. The robust design of the bellows seal ensures that no leakage occurs at the valve stem, creating maintenance-free conditions.
7. The safety of working personnel is improved by the installation of a bellows valve, as emissions of flammable, toxic and hazardous chemicals can be minimised.
