PFA Lined Sight Glass - Atomac Sight Glass

Sight glasses are used for monitoring purposes. They are usually made of a transparent material to monitor pressure changes, level and flow of the medium without interrupting the operation. PFA lined sight glasses are particularly suitable in chemical and pharmaceutical plants, oil and gas refineries, water treatment and other processes involving corrosive media.

At Fergo we offer the Flowserve PFA lined sight glass with DIN and ASME/ANSI standards direct from stock. The Flowserve ASG sight glass is lined on both sides with borosilicate glass to DIN 7080. The borosilicate glass is resistant to high temperatures, corrosion and mechanical stresses. The Flowserve ASG sight glass is available in two different linings, with PFA lining and with conductive PFA lining.

Why PFA-lined valves / PTFE-lined valves?

PFA linings are an excellent option for corrosive applications in industry. Just like PTFE, PFA offers exceptional resistance to chemicals, high temperatures and extreme conditions. Due to its excellent thermoplastic and mechanical properties, PFA is an ideal lining material for fittings and is therefore widely used. PFA can withstand temperatures from -268°C to 260°C. Due to their flexibility, they are used in various configurations such as ball valves, plug valves, check valves, butterfly valves, strainers and sight glasses.
