The J4C electro actuators from J&J feature a dome position indicator, emergency hand-wheel override, two additional potential-free limit switches, automatic interior heating, and a multi-coloured status light.
The J4C electric actuators are also available in the options DPS 4-20mA/0-10V (digital positioning system) and BSR NC/NO (battery safety pack). The J2, J3, and J3C (old models) can be offered on request.

J4C Electric Actuators for Every Application
The J4C range of electric quarter-turn actuators offers a versatile portfolio of solutions for precise control and positioning tasks. The Standard Electric Actuator stands out for its straightforward operation: it operates based on a pre-defined run time, making it a reliable, time-proven electric rotary actuator for standard on/off duties.
For applications requiring a fail-safe function, the Electric Actuator with BSR Battery Safety Return (NC/NO) is available. In the event of a power failure, this system automatically drives the actuator to a pre-defined safety position, which can be flexibly configured as either Open (NO) or Closed (NC). An integrated rechargeable battery powers this safety action. During BSR operation, certain functions like the internal heater and torque protection are temporarily deactivated. A status LED indicates the safety position for approximately three minutes until normal power supply is restored.
For precise proportional control tasks, the Electric Actuator with DPS Digital Positioning System (standard 4–20 mA, optionally 0–10 V or 1–10 V) provides a flexible solution. This system allows the rotation angle to be precisely controlled via a configurable input signal, while simultaneously feeding back the current valve position as an output signal. If the input signal is lost, a preset fail-safe position (NC or NO) can be automatically assumed.
