Durco Plug Valves
The plug valves from FLOWSERVE from the DURCO T4E series have been designed and developed with the latest technology and are therefore ideally suited for use in the processing chemical industry. The plug valves are available in ASME classes 150 and 300 and also in DIN EN class PN16 and are designed for a maximum temperature of 204°C.
The Durco G4E plug valve is the European version of the Durco G4 and features DIN EN flanges and an EN ISO 5211 mounting flange for easy actuator attachment.
This valve is also available as a 3-way version under the designation G4EB. This plug valve is also available as a 3-way valve under the designation MG4.
Plug valves are known as flow control valves that allow the user to increase or decrease the flow by turning the handle or other similar operations. The user must set the valve to the desired flow rate, and the valve can maintain a constant and reliable flow rate.
Plug valves are most commonly used in applications where flow must be checked and changed regularly and where the user must have access to the valve. Plug valves should not be used in applications where a constant, steady flow is required or where the valve does not need to be easily accessible.
Quarter turn plug valves are the most common and require a simple quarter turn on a handle to open and close the valve.We handle it - that's our company philosophy!
