Ball valves DVGW: Gas & Drinking Water
The German Technical and Scientific Association for Gas and Water (DVGW) is known for its high testing standards and requirements, which we fulfil in full with our wide range of drinking water and gas shut-off valves.
With DVGW-approved ball valves made of stainless steel, steel, brass and spheroidal graphite iron, we fulfil your shut-off requirements in your gas and drinking water pipes. We offer DVGW ball valves with male/female threads and DIN & ANSI/ASME flanges. Depending on the type, these gas and drinking water valves are suitable for use in pipes with pressure ratings of PN10, PN16, PN25; PN40, ANSI 150lbs and higher.
Our ball valves for drinking water are primarily used in drinking water systems, in water treatment, in the food and beverage industry, in commercial and residential buildings and in areas where the DVGW standards for water must be complied with. Our gas ball valves can also be used in industrial processes, in gas supply lines, in domestic installations, in power stations and many other areas where gas must be handled with particular safety.
The electric and pneumatic gas ball valves are also available in our Fergo shop.

Why ball valves with DVGW approval?
The DVGW approval for ball valves is an approval from the German Technical and Scientific Association for Gas and Water (DVGW). This approval is particularly important in the field of gas and water pipes.
The DVGW approval ensures that the ball valve fulfils certain quality standards. This may include careful testing of the materials, the manufacturing process and the performance characteristics of the ball valve. Certification ensures that the ball valve complies with the relevant standards and regulations for safe operation in gas and water supply systems. This is particularly important when it comes to the transport and distribution of gases or drinking water in order to prevent accidents or contamination.
Products with DVGW approval can gain the confidence of drinking water system builders, engineers and operators of gas and water supply systems, domestic engineers and consumers because they know that these products have been specifically tested and approved for safe use in such critical applications.
