Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

How long does delivery take to Germany?

Stock items are delivered within 2–5 working days by DHL after payment has been confirmed. For over 14,000 products, express next-working-day delivery is available for orders placed before 13:00. Express shipping is available for Germany only.

Does Fergo deliver to other EU countries — and how long does it take?

Yes, we deliver to all EU member states. Delivery times across the EU are 2–7 working days, depending on the destination country and package size.

Please note: Express next-day delivery is available for Germany only. For all other EU countries standard shipping applies. For international enquiries please contact beratung@fergo.shop.

What payment methods does Fergo accept?

We accept bank transfer (prepayment) and invoice with a payment term of 14 or 30 days, depending on your agreement. Please note that express delivery with prepayment is only possible once payment has been confirmed.

How do I request a free quotation?

Quotations are free and non-binding. Send your specifications (DN, PN, material, quantity, application) to shop@fergo.shop. Due to the technical nature of our products, we typically respond within 24 hours.

Can I upload an order list or BOM?

Yes. The "Upload Order" function in the shop allows you to import a bill of materials as Excel or CSV. If you need a template, write to shop@fergo.shop.

What happens if a product is not in stock?

Fergo holds over 25,000 standard products in permanent stock. If an item is unavailable, we will notify you immediately by email with an estimated delivery date. For urgent requirements we can often propose an alternative or arrange priority procurement from the manufacturer.

What is a custom solution and how do I request one?

A custom solution is a valve or valve assembly beyond the standard range — for example with special materials (Duplex, Hastelloy, PTFE-lined), unusual pressure ratings (up to ANSI 600), specific certifications (ATEX, TA-Luft, SIL) or full automation including actuator, limit switch box and solenoid valve.

Send your enquiry with medium, temperature, pressure, nominal size and required certification to beratung@fergo.shop or visit our custom solutions page.

Which certificates does Fergo supply with delivery?

On request, we issue a 3.1 inspection certificate to EN 10204 (chemical analysis, mechanical properties, pressure test to EN 12266-1). Available certifications include: DVGW Gas & Drinking Water, TA-Luft, ATEX, Fire Safe (TÜV SÜD), SIL, WRAS, CE/PED, ISO 9001. Full overview on our certificates page.

When do I need a DVGW-certified valve?

DVGW certification is legally required for valves in drinking water installations (DVGW W270, German TrinkwV) and natural gas pipelines (DIN EN 13774). Fergo offers DVGW-certified ball valves, butterfly valves and gate valves. View DVGW valves →

How do I check chemical resistance for my medium?

Fergo provides a chemical resistance list where you can verify the compatibility of seal materials (EPDM, NBR, PTFE, FKM) and body materials (GGG40, stainless steel, brass) with your medium. Access it at Chemical Resistance. When in doubt, our engineers advise free of charge.

Are 2D and 3D drawings available for your products?

Yes. For most products, dimensional drawings (PDF) and 3D models (STEP/DXF) are available for free download directly on the product page, enabling seamless integration into piping plans (P&ID) and CAD systems. Missing models can be requested at shop@fergo.shop.

What are the shipping costs within Germany?

Within Germany: up to 3 kg — €14.50; up to 25 kg — calculated individually. Shipments over 25 kg are sent by freight carrier; costs are communicated by email. Shipping costs are not shown in the cart — they are included in your order confirmation email.
