At the core of every automated valve system is the actuator. FERGO offers two proven solutions for different industrial requirements:

Pneumatic Quarter-Turn Actuators

Our pneumatic quarter-turn actuators (single-acting or double-acting) are ideal for fast and reliable switching operations in hazardous areas or demanding industrial environments. They feature robust construction, long service life, and high cycle durability. Spring-return models ensure a defined safety position (fail-safe OPEN or CLOSED) in case of air supply failure – a critical advantage for safety-related applications.

J4C Electric Quarter-Turn Actuator

Where compressed air is not available, the J4C electric actuator offers a versatile solution. Its multivoltage system (24V–230V AC/DC) enables flexible installation. With a 90° rotation time of approximately 9 seconds, it ensures precise and dependable operation of ball valves and butterfly valves in HVAC systems, water treatment, and industrial facilities. Optional integrated positioners allow control via analog signals (0–10V / 4–20mA).

NAMUR Solenoid Valves

Pneumatic actuators are directly controlled via standardized NAMUR solenoid valves (VDI/VDE 3845), eliminating complex tubing. Available as 3/2- and 5/2-way versions in various voltages, including ATEX-certified models for explosive environments. This compact solution simplifies installation and system control.

Switchmaster Limit Switch Box

The Switchmaster limit switch box provides reliable electrical position feedback. Mounted directly on the actuator, it transmits OPEN or CLOSED signals to the control system. The robust IP67 housing ensures dust- and water-tight performance in harsh industrial conditions.

Inductive Sensors

For contactless and maintenance-free position monitoring, inductive sensors offer high precision and durability. They can be integrated into the limit switch box or mounted directly onto the actuator, making them ideal for high switching frequencies or aggressive environments.

Positioners

Precise flow control requires a positioner. It continuously compares the analog control signal (e.g., 4–20mA) with the actual actuator position and adjusts accordingly. This ensures that control valves or modulating ball valves maintain exact positioning for optimal process performance.

Mechanical Accessories and Interfaces

Flange Gaskets

To guarantee leak-tight connections between valve and pipeline, flange gaskets are available in various materials such as graphite or PTFE, suitable for different pressure ratings and media.

Stem Extensions

For difficult installation conditions – such as buried pipelines or high-temperature areas – customized stem extensions are manufactured in various lengths. This allows safe operation or automation outside insulated or hazardous zones.

Pressure Gauges

Monitoring system pressure is essential for operational safety. FERGO offers pressure gauges with different display ranges and process connections to meet industrial requirements.
