Efficient Flow Control with Dual Plate Check Valves
The dual plate check valve consists of two valve elements mounted in one body. Each flap element is designed to open in the direction of the permitted flow and close in the direction of the blocked flow.
The design of the dual plate check valve allows flow to be effectively controlled in both directions. When the pressure or flow is in the preferred direction, the damper elements open automatically to allow flow. However, in the event of a sudden backflow or pressure change, the flaps close immediately to prevent backflow.
Double swing check valves are used in a wide variety of applications, including water and wastewater systems, industrial process plants, chemical plants, heating and cooling systems, and the food and beverage industry. They help maintain the integrity of the piping system, prevent contamination and ensure the flow of media in one direction.
